Our Entourage

The Gals

Annette Bugno

Annette and I have been close friends since we first met at a former company. Her easy-going and naturally-spontaneous self is what makes hanging out with her so much fun. From DIY Halloween costumes and endless concerts to windows-down-and-hair-in-our-faces road trips, we’ve had so many memorable adventures together. She has been there for me through the thickest and thinnest moments in my life. Because of this, I’m so grateful to have her be by my side on my wedding day.

Maid of Honor

Vanessa Van Dinh

My favorite (and only) sister. Although Vanessa is 10 years younger than me, we’ve done so much together that I feel like we are much closer in age. She’s supported me through some tough times in life, and in those moments, it felt as if she was like my big sister. We both share the same level of weirdness, like to poke fun at our brother (heh, sorry, Steven!), and enjoy a lot of similar, girly things. I love all of the inside jokes that we share. I will always cherish growing up with her. I’m honored to have her be part of my special day.

Bridesmaid

Olivia Pham

My friend with a gentle soul. Olivia and I met at a former company and she has been such a good friend since then. One of my fondest memories with her is taking a road trip up to the Pacific Northwest, staying in a tiny home in the woods, and exploring dark and vast caves. We have a great time going to happy hours together and getting into spontaneous shenanigans whenever we’re looking for some light-hearted fun! She has always been a friend I can truly depend on, and someone who I’m happy to have standing by my side during my wedding.

Bridesmaid

Stefanie Luu

I met Stefanie at a former company, and we instantly connected over having the same sense of humor and eating Cup Noodle during our lunch breaks. Since then, we’ve spent lots of time together eating delicious, glutinous foods (Cheesecake Factory during Christmastime has been a tradition), attending art & craft fairs (we can never have enough jewelry), and dancing the night away. She has been someone I can always count on to have lots of fun and laughter with. I’m happy to have her be part of my special day.

Bridesmaid

Justina Jong

Justina and I met on Facebook when I found her through a rock climbing social group. Because I was looking for new partners to climb with, I sent her a message, unsure if she would be willing to meet with someone who was more new to climbing than her. She happily agreed to meet and climb at the gym, and we immediately bonded. Since then, we’ve done a lot of outdoor adventures and climbing together. We’ve had a lot of heart-to-hearts and always want the best for each other. She’s my unofficial life coach. I’m truly honored to have her be part of my crew on my wedding day.

Bridesmaid

The Bros

Christopher Wszalek

My brother Chris has been my biggest role model for as long as I can remember. Even though he's five years older than me, he always included me in whatever he was doing. Growing up, I wanted to be just like him, whether it was cheering on the Bills and Sabres together, sharing the unforgettable "Now do you believe?" moment that we still talk about to this day, or playing street hockey with the neighborhood crew, where I followed in his footsteps by becoming a goalie. I was honored to stand beside him as his best man, and now, 15 years later, it's my turn. I couldn't imagine anyone else standing next to me on my wedding day.

Best Man

Justin Golas

Justin is my cousin, but growing up he was more like a second brother. Along with Chris, the three of us were practically inseparable, spending countless hours playing street hockey, watching Bills and Sabres games, and creating memories that still make us laugh today. A few years after I moved to Boston, Justin made the move as well, and we picked up right where we left off, hanging out and spending more fun nights out together. I was honored to share the role of best man at his wedding with Chris, and I'm grateful to call Justin one of my closest friends and someone I couldn't imagine celebrating this day without.

Groomsman

Michael Owczarczak

Mike is my cousin, but has always been more than that, and growing up I always enjoyed hanging out with him. A lot of my childhood was spending time at his house, playing mini sticks, video games, air hockey and swimming in the pool. We also played on several summer soccer teams together, many of them coached by Chris. Over the years, we’ve shared plenty of Bills and Sabres memories and have still stayed connected in our group chats. Even though we don’t get to see each other as much anymore, I was very fortunate to stand in his wedding, and it means a lot to have him standing by my side.

Groomsman

Maximilian Morse

I met Max the first weekend I moved to Boston. After making the drive by myself, I quickly realized I had no one to help me move in. Max stepped up and helped out, though apparently the first order of business was climbing on top of my U-Haul. That turned into the start of a great friendship. We spent time together hitting the gym, watching football, hockey, and U.S. Soccer, grabbing Anna’s, and just settling into everyday life in Boston. Living in Boston alongside Kristin and Max made that time feel like home. It meant a lot to be part of his wedding and it means even more to have him standing by my side on my wedding day.

Groomsman

Brendan Pineault

I met Brendan from the Boston friend group, and we quickly bonded over our love of hockey. From countless EA NHL games and watching hockey together to him helping me learn how to skate and play ice hockey, we became great friends. He even lent me an old pair of skates which led to one of my favorite memories of playing pond hockey in Boston Commons. When I made the move from Boston to San Francisco, Brendan joined me for the cross-country drive, turning it into an unforgettable hockey road trip with stops to catch NHL games in Chicago, St. Louis, Denver, and San Jose. I'm grateful to have him standing by my side on this day.
